Finance Minister Siobhan Coady and Premier Andrew Furey announced Wednesday, Oct. 5, the government will be distributing a one-time $500 cheque by year’s end to adults who earn less than $100k, and who file their 2021 taxes by the end of this year. People who earn between $100k and $125k will receive a partial payment between $250 and $500. -Juanita Mercer/SaltWire NetworkST. JOHN'S, N.L.
