KUALA LUMPUR: A group of participants wearing white shirts have arrived at Masjid Jamek here in preparation for the Save Malaysia rally march to the Sogo shopping centre.
The participants had earlier been told to wear a white shirt as part of the march and gathering later, and began their march at around 1.50pm.A noticeable police presence has been on standby at the mosque since 11.30am.Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the reports were made by various people including business owners, the public and NGOs.
"To save Malaysia, this is not the way. All parties should respect Malaysia Day. Our safety is secured. In fact, such protests might cause disruption to public activities,” he added.to our Premium Plan for an ad-free and unlimited reading experience!
