Toronto police are reporting four arrests after someone was nearly carjacked at an Etobicoke bank. The victim was in the bank near Rexdale Boulevard and High
The victim was in the bank near Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27 Sunday when he was approached by three suspects wearing masks.A fight broke out and the victim was hit in the head with the gun before he managed to fend off the suspects, who fled back to their vehicle and drove off.Police quickly responded and tracked down the vehicle.Joel Cowan, 19, of Whitby is charged with robbery with a firearm and disguise with intent.
Amidullah Baluch, 25, of Toronto is charged with robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent and assault with a weapon. Isaiah Vandeberg, 18, of no fixed address is charged with robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its unauthorized, possession of a firearm while prohibited, unauthorized possession of a firearm in motor vehicle and carry concealed weapon.
