Rebecca Ferguson looking fearful as Juliette Nichols in Silo season 2
Silo showrunner Graham Yost addresses when his hit Apple TV+ plus show will end as season 2 approaches. Based on the novels by Hugh Howey, the sci-fi thriller series premiered in 2023, following Rebecca Ferguson's Juliette, an engineer, as she attempts to unravel a conspiracy within the underground silo that houses the last of humankind. The show was a hit, and Silo season 2 is now on the way with a story that adapts the second half of Wool, the first book in Howey's trilogy.
"That doesn't mean it's going to be three seasons, but it's not going to be 10. It is our goal to answer questions and not frustrate the audience, but deliver things in a logical time, so that when our characters find something out, that's when the audience finds out." ✕ Remove Ads Whether that happens, however, will depend on the reception to season 2. Silo season 1 ended on a major cliffhanger and the season as a whole was a critical and viewership hit. If season 2 can maintain this momentum, there's no reason to believe season 3 won't get the green light. With Yost having a clear plan for the show's endgame, this will hopefully mean that the show isn't cancelled before its time and that Juliette's story won't go unfinished.
