"The Israeli air strike on a residential complex in the Jabalia refugee camp is a brazen violation of international law — and a war crime. Attacking a camp sheltering civilians including women and children is a complete breach of the rules of proportionality and distinction between combatants and civilians," the experts said.
"We are dealing with terrorists that build the infrastructure of terror underneath Jabalia refugee camp for a big reason, they want this picture of destruction, they want this picture of death and they want us to have this dilemma all day and all night while our soldiers are being threatened." The military also says it can't afford to ignore major Hamas targets, even if they sit underneath homes or civilian infrastructure.

The much-anticipated address actually calmed fears the conflict would spread, despite Nasrallah saying a regional war was a "realistic possibility".
