KUALA LUMPUR: YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook were the most used social media platforms by Malaysians over the past three years, says Fahmi Fadzil.
"For the three year period between 2020 and 2022, the most used platforms were used by Malaysians interchangeably.
He said that YouTube held the top spot out of 10 platforms in 2020 and 2021 and was overtaken by WhatsApp last year.Under the list, Telegram was fourth highest used platform last year followed by FB messenger and TikTok. Meanwhile, Fahmi said that his ministry and the Communications and Multimedia Commission through the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum had drawn a content code.
