According to Maussan, the corpses were retrieved from Cusco, Peru, near the ancient Nazca Lines, in 2017. Additionally, through carbon dating, he determined that the specimens are about 1,000 years old, according to Mexico’s National Autonomous University . Maussan, during the coverage, invited experts from across the world to come and check the sources and the corpse themselves.
For his most recent revelation, he claimed, while under oath, that it was the first time such evidence had been presented – but this has come under fire, as the exact same slides used in the Congress presentation and the corpses themselves appeared in a YouTube video two years ago.
