From Casa Loma Legends of Horror to Halloween at Black Creek Community Farm, Toronto’s got a lot of fun to offer this weekend. Here’s a sampling of what’s on.
Lower Bay station, closed to the public since the 1960s,Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to the public. Trick-or-treaters can grab nut-free candies on a Halloween-themed subway train, and the TTC will also host free giveaways for kids.
The entrance fee is $2 for children 12 years old and under, while tickets for adults will sell for $5. All proceeds will go to the United Way Greater Toronto, a non-for-profit organization fighting local poverty. Lower Bay station is only accessible through a staircase at Bay station’s Cumberland Street entrance, while some events take place on the main concourse level.
