These are the important steps that PwC needed to take to cauterise the wound. Putting more names out there is a good step. I think there’s still a question over: is there more to come on that front? Is this the final list [of names]? I think that’s still a live question. To sign a binding term sheet and not have details like that worked out is really unique. This is what Allegro does ... co-founder Adrian Loader says “where there’s a fire, we run towards it and everyone else runs away. That’s our business model, that’s how we make money for investors.” I’m not saying they’re not going pull it together, it’s just astounding how little is actually worked out.I think the separation of PwC and Scyne could be quite exciting, [but] not everyone will be happy.
