The Premier was defiant and turned on reporters as his government faced damning new allegations of using dead people to branch stack.

The Australian alleged a Victorian Labor branch associated with Energy Minister Lily D’Ambrosio produced signatures of at least two deceased people multiple times on party membership forms.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews fired up at reporters as he stood up over public housing with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone more focused on the ministerial duties,” Mr Andrews said.

While Mr Andrews didn’t categorically admit to feeling positive that branch stacking had been wiped out, he expressed confidence in “a membership audit” as a result of the probe.
