POLICE Regional Office in Western Visayas Director Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky has directed all unit commanders to ensure maximum deployment of cops in strategic locations and areas of convergence this holiday season to prevent crimes and safeguard the public. The command conference was attended by the PRO 6 Command Group, regional and personal staff, chiefs of national support units, provincial and city directors, force commanders, and chiefs of police from across Western Visayas.
Wanky also called for collaboration with stakeholders, including local government units, barangay officials, force multipliers, and other organizations, to enhance crime prevention efforts.“We need to ensure the safety and security of our 'kababayans.' In all our deployments and crime prevention endeavors, engage the different stakeholders such as the local government units, Barangay officials, force multipliers, and other government and non-government organizations,” he added.
