Western countries are allowing China’s aggression to flourish by appeasing to President Xi Jinping instead of holding him accountable, General Jack Keane says.
General Jack Keane told Sky News Australia that countries around the world have been pacifying China for the past 30 years and it was time for a change.
“The fact is China’s been more repressive at home and more aggressive abroad, so that strategy didn’t work and you had far too many leaders still try to appease China in the face of aggression.“Throughout history when you appease the aggressor, the results you get is more aggression, that is a fact.”
