Plateau State governor Caleb Mutfwang has assured the people that his administration will prioritise accountability and ensure that every penny spent benefits
The governor said he had directed all local government chairmen to assess and complete abandoned projects that serve the community.Mutfwang spoke yesterday at the commissioning of a clinic in Vwei community of Jos South local government area, strategically located, to cater for the healthcare needs of the people.
The governor praised the transition implementation committee chairman of Jos South council, Peter Vwang Dung, for overseeing the construction of the clinic. Mutfang expressed his administration’s strong commitment to significant investments in the healthcare sector, emphasising fiscal responsibility and the completion of beneficial projects.Meanwhile, Hon Peter Vwang Dung, while welcoming Governor Mutfwang to the site, said work on the clinic started in 2010 but was later abandoned until his appointment a few months ago. He said the clinic is significant in view of its potential to meet the health needs of the local populace.
He reaffirmed the commitment of Jos South residents to support the administration’s vision, which is aimed at enhancing the lives of the people through the delivery of quality healthcare services.
