PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad said the non-Malays in Kelantan live in harmony despite making up less than 10% of the population.

Idris said in the over-three decades PAS had administered the east coast state, not a “single Chinese was killed” nor “an Indian had been beheaded”. “Why? Because the Muslims know how to respect people. It is compulsory for Muslims to take care of non-Muslims.
