Yes Campaign Alliance Director Dean Parkin has dismissed polls showing declining support for the Voice, insisting he is more focused on bringing the issue to the community 'where it belongs.'

Yes Campaign Alliance Director Dean Parkin said he does not get"caught up" in polling over support for the Voice as his focus remains bringing the issue to the community.

He said another poll, the Central Poll, showed support increasing"marginally" to about 60 per cent, suggesting that there was little point focusing on any one set of figures."There'll be plenty of them between now and the referendum. "The conversation's been really caught up in the Canberra bubble with politicians and lawyers having their say," he said."It belongs with the people of Australia, it doesn't actually belong with the politicians. He added that"every time" he went out into communities he met with people who told him how much the Voice matters to them.

Mr Parkin's comments come a day after one of the chief backers of the Voice, Noel Pearson, warned the Yes campaign needed to change course saying a"lack of clarity" was undermining support.
