Former US president Donald Trump has denounced the civil fraud case over his business practice as politically motivated as he leaves Manhattan Supreme Court after day one of trial. The $250 million civil fraud case brought against him by New York Attorney General Letitia James accuses Mr Trump, his sons, Eric and Don Jr., and the Trump Organization of engaging in a decades-long scheme, over-inflating the values of former US president's many properties. “We did nothing wrong,” he said during a media conference on Tuesday. 'There's no case here, there’s no victim … everybody got paid. “A terrible, terrible thing this was for politics.”
