Michael Mitchell had four rifles, a shotgun and an ammo in his Maple Street home
BERWICK, N.S. — A Waterville man is facing a slew of drug and firearm charges after police seized drugs and firearms from his home in the community.Police found and arrested Michael Mitchell, 33, and seized cocaine, four rifles, a shotgun, ammunition, cash, scales and a cell phone.
He has since been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, five counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, five counts of possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized and careless storage of a firearm. Mitchell was released on conditions and will appear in Kentville provincial court on Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m.
