Wasaga Beach officials take measures against illegal car rally this long weekend

Wasaga Beach town officials are warning of a large illegal car rally that may attempt to take place at some point on the Labour Day weekend.

The town says it has teamed up with Ontario Provincial Police to take proactive steps to try to prevent the rally from taking place including road closures and the installation of vehicle check-points.Modified vehicles will also not be permitted in the community, and officials stress they will do everything in their power to keep them out.
