A letter with the headline, “Urgent request to prevent the Palestinian Youth Movement’s rallies planned for October 8-9, 2023,” was sent to Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw and his counterparts in Montreal, Vancouver and Ottawa, expressing concern that these flag-waving gatherings may ignite further violence — perhaps even in Canada.
