According to Main Street Research\u0027s latest opinion poll, Toronto voters are moving Anthony Furey up in the race to be mayor.
Lorne Bozinoff’s latest Forum Research poll had him at 3.5%.
“I love Toronto and I firmly believe this is a city worth fighting for,” my one-time colleague at the Toronto Sun told me upon hearing the news of this poll. “We can fix this mess and I’m determined to bring a fresh perspective, an outside perspective, to City Hall.” “As a former newspaper columnist and father of three small kids, I know this city, I love this city and I believe Toronto is worth fighting for,” Furey added. “We see the awful images of what’s happening in cities like Seattle and San Francisco. As mayor, I’ll turn Toronto around and make sure that doesn’t happen here.”Article contentWe apologize, but this video has failed to load.Furey and Brown represent the outside position in this battle.
