Despite rainy weather lately, campfire bans remain in effect
After a rainy start to the work week, there’s good news coming to Prince George, if you like warm and sunny weather.
The chance of rain diminishes to 30 per cent on Tuesday, under a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 21 C expected. After a Thursday high of 21 C, Friday’s peak is expected to hit 26 C and it should be even warmer on Saturday, with a forecast high of 29 C and a high of 27 C on Sunday.According to the provincial drought map and its latest estimates, posted on July 25, there has been enough rain lately to mitigate drought conditions in the Upper Fraser East east of Prince George, which is now at Level 2 on a scale of 0-5.
