Teratai state assemblyman Bryan Lai says he agrees with Warisan’s decision to stay out of the state elections.

“I won’t even stand as an independent candidate,” Lai told FMT. He said he had promised Warisan president Shafie Apdal that he would help Pakatan Harapan in the elections. Shafie has stated that the party would not take part in the elections but would focus on strengthening its position in Sabah and on supporting PH’s election campaigns.
