Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham says Wagner Group boss Yevgeny Prigozhin is a “creation” of Vladimir Putin.
“So his creation who has turned upon him – these are internal Russian matters very clearly,” he told Sky News Australia.
“But what we really should be looking at is of course the harm that Vladimir Putin has caused and clearly to Ukraine in terms of the inhumane, illegal invasion of Ukraine and the great loss of life and tragedy that’s unfolded there.”
