: Sebagai tanda solidariti kepada rakyat Palestin, Viva Palestina Malaysia dan MyCARE akan menganjurkan perhimpunan aman Freedom for Palestine di Dataran Merdeka Ahad ini.

“Kira-kira 100 penunggang motosikal berkuasa tinggi akan berhimpun di Dataran Merdeka Ahad ini. Mereka akan membawa bendera Palestin namun mereka bukan berkonvoi kerana kami hanya ingin mewujudkan kehadiran mereka dengan menempatkan motosikal mereka di sana,” katanya pada sidang akhbar mengenai perhimpunan itu di sini hari ini.

“Menerusi perhimpunan ini, saya harap kita akan dapat meningkatkan kesedaran mengenai krisis kemanusiaan di Palestin dan perjuangan mereka bagi mendapatkan kebebasan, keadilan serta kesaksamaan,” katanya. “Tiada kutipan dan tiada Tabung Kemanusiaan Palestin. Jadi, pihak keselamatan akan memastikan bahawa kutipan derma tidak akan dibuat pada perhimpunan itu,” katanya.
