KOTA KINABALU: Vivian Wong Shir Yee, who has been appointed as the new Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (CVLB) chairman, started her duties on Friday (June 16) by chairing a meeting with board members and officers here.

In her first official meeting, Wong was given a briefing on Sabah CVLB's operations and heard current issues they faced.

"I promise to do my duties especially in solving the backlog of license applications which have existed for some time," she said. She gave examples of holding dialogue sessions with relevant parties on installing Global Positioning System in commercial vehicles as well as online CVLB services.
