JASIN, May 27 — Various unity-based tourism programmes will be implemented more widely in Melaka in conjunction with the Visit Melaka Year 2024 , said state Health, Human Resources and Unity Committee chairman Ngwe Hee Sem.
“The state’s National Unity and Integration Department will cooperate with the state’s Tourism Promotion Division to arrange more tourism programmes involving the various communities in Melaka to showcase their respective cultural and artistic identities. He added that the celebration will also be able to increase the community’s understanding of aspects of religion, arts and the culture of certain races while, at the same time, empowering respect and fostering high tolerance between them.
