: Tindakan seorang lelaki yang enggan memberhentikan kenderaan dipandunya selepas diarahkan pihak polis berakhir dengan penahanannya apabila kenderaan terbabit melanggar beberapa kenderaan lain.
Beliau berkata siasatan mendapati kejadian berlaku pada Ahad lepas melibatkan anggota Balai Polis Kamunting yang sedang menjalankan tugas ronda cegah jenayah kira-kira 5.45 petang. “Polis mengarahkan pemandu itu memberhentikan kenderaannya bagi pemeriksaan tetapi pemandu itu bertindak melarikan diri memandu secara berbahaya serta melanggar beberapa kenderaan lain selain cuba melanggar kenderaan polis sebelum ditahan di Jalan Persiaran Kamunting,“ katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Beliau berkata lelaki terbabit yang didapati positif dadah jenis MOP kini disiasat mengikut Seksyen 307 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 7 Akta Bahan Kakisan Letupan dan Senjata Berbahaya 1960.
