Two suspects were apprehended in Durham Region after a wild pursuit that included the deployment of a Durham Regional Police helicopter.

Members of the East Division were called to the area of Darlington Blvd. and King St. E. in Courtice for two suspects who fled the LCBO with a “large quantity of stolen merchandise.” Police say the suspects fled in a pickup truck at a “high rate of speed” and struck a vehicle on Hwy. 2 and Clarington Blvd.From our newsroom to your inbox at noon, the latest headlines, stories, opinion and photos from the Toronto Sun.
