This stall owner in Penang was honoured to welcome the King & Queen when they visited his Ramadan Bazaar stall. Watch:
Last week, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah visited Penang for 3 days, and at one point during their stay, the royal couple decided to drop by at the Tanjung Tokong Ramadan Bazaar to buy food for iftar. TikTok user @_defnotkai_ posted a video of the Malaysian royals visiting his stall to order drinks.
The video has since gone viral, now reaching nearly 300k views, and 11.2k likes. Netizens were amused to see Malaysian royals out and about ordering food at the Ramadan bazaar. Some imagined how nervous the stall owner must’ve been, especially after they noticed that His Highness had tapped him on the shoulder while ordering the corn drink.We’re pretty sure the business owners at the Bazaar in Penang were stoked to have such prolific figures in their presence that day.
