Victoria's public service executives are set to take home thousands of dollars more a year after receiving a four per cent salary increase hot on the heels of politicians in the state receiving a pay bump.
The Victorian Independent Remuneration Tribunal on Thursday revealed it had granted executives employed in public service bodies a four per cent salary increase.
Executives employed in Victoria's public service bodies have been handed a four per cent salary increase. For SES-AOH-2 employees, the base of band TRP is increasing to $279,239 and to $401,017 for staff at the top of band. "It also noted movements in inflation, including growth in the Melbourne Consumer Price Index of 6.8 per cent over the year to March 2023, and forecast average growth of 4.25 per cent in this index in 2023-24."
Liberal leader John Pesutto is set to receive $383,760 per annum, which is about the same as other government cabinet ministers.
