A man is dead and another is fighting for life after a ute crash in rural Victoria.
believe the ute was being driven in a paddock in Limestone, about 80 kilometres north-east of Melbourne, when it rolled down a hill and crashed into a tree about 11.05am on Sunday.
A 21-year-old from Ashburton in Melbourne's east died at the scene and another man, 22, from nearby Malvern, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.A report is being prepared for the Victorian coroner over a fatal ute crash. A 21-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries was also flown to hospital, while a 22-year-old Glen Iris man and a 21-year-old Mulgrave woman escaped injury, police said.
