One person has been taken to the hospital after the fifth report of a stabbing in just over one month in Victoria. Just before 10:30 a.m., Victoria Police officers were called to the intersection at Douglas and Yates streets for a report of a stabbing.“As the investigation is in the early stages, further details are not available but we may have more to share later,” VicPD said.
The scene of this stabbing spans the 1200 block of Douglas Street and the 600 block of Yates Street, according to VicPD.On March 12, police were called to a multi-unit residential building in James Bay where one person suffered non-life threatening injuries.One week later on March 19, police were called to the corner of Douglas and View streets for a stabbing where one person was brought to hospital.
