Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has spruiked the Victorian government's announcement to boost social housing. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of social housing, referring to being brought up in them during his childhood. “Most importantly the security of having a roof over your head,” Mr Albanese told a press conference on Tuesday. “That’s what it did for me, growing up in social housing – that security of a roof over my head.” The plan aims to bring 769 social houses.
