KOTA KINABALU: A veterinary clinic in Penampang suffered damage from a fire on Thursday night (April 6).
“The fire was put out by civilians before the team arrived, and the 40 by 40 square feet area was 20% burnt but no casualties were recorded.
“The team conducted inspections to address any risks and the operation ended at 9.50pm,” said a department spokesman. Authorities are also checking the close-circuit television recording to determine the cause of fire as witnesses claimed seeing someone near the vicinity right before the fire broke out.
