Veteran Taiwanese lyricist and music producer Eason Lee died on Saturday at the age of 66, Sin Chew Daily reported.
He was known for penning the lyrics to classics such as Feng Fei Fei’s Sweetheart and Lo Ta-yu’s Train. On many occasions, he had also appeared as one of the judges in the prestigious Golden Melody Awards.
A respected figure, Lee’s image was tainted after he made known in 2012 that he was dating a daughter of one of his friends.His girlfriend Lin Jing-En was only 16 years old then. Now 26, Lin’s current Facebook relationship status shows as “married”.“It happened at 8:21pm last night. Stayed in the hospital for the past seven months and finally, he decided to heed my nagging . Ten years passed by as if it was just a moment,” she wrote.
