The Vesak Day long weekend is here, and some Singaporeans are opting for a quick getaway to Johor Bahru .At around 11am today, epically long queues started forming at the Johor Bahru customs checkpoint.
The lines were so long that they spilled out of the checkpoint building and onto the pavement beside the bus lane.According to photos posted online by netizens, some people were holding umbrellas to shield themselves from the hot sun while they waited., who was one of those stuck in the human jam, shared photos of the queue, quipping: “Half an hour to walk a few steps. Too thrilling.”
