She was cleared of nine charges, including five that related to Meyer and four involving Erlich.The former principal — who is also a mother of eight — had pleaded not guilty to the charges and faced a six-week trial, which began in the Victorian County Court in February.AAP
In closing the Crown’s case last month, prosecutor Justin Lewis said Leifer used fake love and concern for the students to get close to them. “There’s no mystery in any of them speaking highly of her — they were getting love and attention from one of the most revered and respected people they knew.”
