Vegas has the venue for what-ever your mood
Before you choose a seat at Mott 32 Las Vegas, the new Hong Kong-cuisine in The Palazzo you have to make a decision on what ambience you want.
Mott 32 Las Vegas copies much of her designs from Mott 32 Hong Kong for which she was awarded ‘World Interior of the Year’ in 2015.For appetizers the dim sum; hot and sour Iberico Shanghainese soup dumplings and black trouffle Siu Mai, were so fresh we had to be careful not to pierce them before putting them in our mouths. One bite and the juices exploded on to our taste buds.
The main dining room borrows from Mott 32 Hong Kong and Vancouver with its hexagonal shape – and island bar. This space is for those who want to dine in an ambience of luxury. Italian-born Chef Angelo Auriana and Restauranteur Matteo Ferdinandi, partners and owners of The Factory Kitchen in Los Angeles duplicated the hugely popular Italian trattoria in Vegas only bigger and with a bar.
If you’ve never been to Italy you will want to go after being served here or maybe just sit back and let the wait staff bring Italy to you one plate at a time. With a nod to rums, and mezcals, the legendary Sam Ross of New York’s Milk and Honey fame helped create the drink offerings. Where they differ is the Dorsey is quieter, less kinetic and cozy, doing away with the big screen and featuring an old-school study lined with books. And there is a faux fireplace. Most of the seating is comfortable couches designed for you to never want to leave.
“It starts with the food, we have a lot to offer with a wide variety of dishes. Chef Emeril allows his chefs to create these dishes which I love. Being a chef is like being an artist on how we put different ingredients together and how that taste comes alive. I tried the 16oz Ribeye Steak and in the end I wasn’t only cheering for the LA Rams but the food too.
