It ultimately pushed her monthly rent up to $1,580 from $1,375.
Krislyn Jagt poses in the courtyard at her southeast Calgary apartment complex on Friday, July 21, 2023. She’s wearing a shirt which shows an acronym for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, a multi-issue, membership-based community union of low- and moderate-income people.and her partner have been searching for a new place since May, but are facing a steep jump from their current rent.
