Led by Creative Beverage Director Grant Sceney and Head Bartender Jeff Savage, the bar aims to create drinks that celebrate “the Pacific Northwest’s unique biodiversity.” The creations often feature “chemist-like executions” with homemade syrups and natural elements. “Winning the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award is a distinct and completely humbling honour,” Savage said in the release. “We have cheered from afar watching bars we deeply admire receive this accolade and to be a part of the conversation alongside them is a gift.”

Botanist’s 50 Best Bars award is one of several pre-announced awards leading up to the second-annual North America’s 50 Best Bars 2023 awards, which is slated to take place May 4 in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.
