It’s part of a three-in-three weekend for Vancouver, with a trip to the Sandman Centre to face the Blazers coming Saturday and then a Sunday matinee against the Cougars at the Langley Events Centre.
Backup goalie Brett Mirwald has started three of Vancouver’s past eight games going into the weekend. Also at play in Vancouver forward-line makeup are Kyle Bochek and Colton Langkow, rugged wingers who both played their best hockey with the Giants in last year’s playoffs.
