Google and security experts are warning Chrome users to update their browser immediately after a scary vulnerability was detected.
The tech firm was forced to make an announcement because hackers managed to uncover the bug before Google found it — which is a major cause for concern. But sometimes, these bugs are known as ‘zero-day’ — a term which takes its name from the fact that the vendor has yet to realise the vulnerability and patch it. It means the firm had zero days to prepare to tackle the problem because they didn’t know it could happen.
Detailed information about what will happen if users don’t update their software has not yet been revealed.

SpaceX's taxi service faces its ‘most dangerous’ test on re-entry | Sky News AustraliaThe first commercial taxi service to successfully launch to the International Space Station faces its ‘most dangerous’ challenge this weekend when it detaches and re-enters Earth’s atmosphere, Brad Tucker says.\n\nThe Australian National University astrophysicist told Sky News on Thursday that when SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule descends down to Earth, this time with just a dummy, the margin of error is so small the extreme heat and vibrations could kill off any would-be astronauts aboard future flights. \n\nMr Tucker says scientists can ‘never really’ predict the exact dynamics of the atmosphere, which heats spacecraft on entry back into Earth, so the test flight will allow them to identify any issues. \n\nWith some luck, the American space company led by billionaire Elon Musk will ferry astronauts to space in 2019, replacing Russia’s Soyuz capsules. \n\nImage: SpaceX\n\n\n
