Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Orang Kerdil Sabah or Prokesa (Sabah Dwarf People Association) which was registered in 2021 already has several activities planned for its members.
Founder and President Asnah Yusop said she initiated forming the association here upon realising there was none to represent or voice out the group’s interests.“It is pitiful that the dwarf community in Sabah is not given any attention. This category is shy to come forward to seek assistance for fear of being looked down,” she said.
“I decided to form a protem committee in 2020 and approached the TYT to be our patron Dear Daily Express reader,Ever since 1963, before the formation of Malaysia, The Daily Express has kept the public well-informed as well as helped shape Sabah & Labuan's development for almost 60 years.
