Power outage affecting 1200 customers in New Sudbury
Greater Sudbury Utilities has rerouted power to about half of the 1,200 customers in New Sudbury affected by a power outage this morning. The outage is affecting customers in the Drummond Avenue, Atlee Avenue, Arthur Street, Grandview Boulevard, and Woodbine Avenue areas of New Sudbury.
The utility said a "major line" went down and that's what caused the outage. Customers in the Drummond, Rideau and Lavoie areas will be without power for awhile longer as crews perform repairs.
