On Saturday, May 6 between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., officers responded to two separate calls for stabbings on Spadina Avenue between Cecil Street and Dundas Street West area. In the first instance, a 75-year-old woman was walking southbound on Spadina Avenue when the man approached her from behind and “stabbed her on the left side of the neck with a sharp object,” police from the 52 Division said.

Then, police from 14 Division reported that another woman was walking north on Spadina when the suspect stabbed her in the right arm “with a sharp object.”Officers are asking anyone with information to contact police at 416-808-1400 or 416-808-5200, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS , or at www.222tips.com.
