KUALA LUMPUR: The unity government’s women convention to be held at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL) this May 14 will focus on the economic agenda, nation-building and the role of women in the context of Malaysia Madani.
The Unity Government Women's Leadership Consultative Council, in a statement, said the content for the conference was finalised at the council's first meeting at Menara Dato' Onn here today .
"The Unity Government Women's Leadership Consultative Council hopes that through this convention, it will strengthen the unity government’s agenda under the Malaysia Madani concept,” it said. Meanwhile, the meeting held today was aimed at strengthening collaboration and building a network among women in the unity government.
It was jointly chaired by Barisan Nasional Wanita chairman Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad and Pakatan Harapan Wanita chairman Aiman Athirah Sabu.Article type: free
