UN rights council adopts Malaysia-sponsored resolution
The Foreign Ministry says a resolution on transparency in the public service adopted by the UN, that was co-sponsored by Malaysia, is in line with Malaysia’s Madani concept. – Facebook pic, April 4, 2023.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement issued today, besides Malaysia, the resolution titled “Promoting Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals through Transparent, Accountable and Efficient Public Services Delivery” was also sponsored by Azerbaijan, Georgia, Thailand, Türkiye, Kenya and Ecuador.
“The resolution also encourages capacity-building and training in areas of human rights, gender equality, rule of law and good governance,” said the statement.
