One design she completed lately was inspired by traditional Ukrainian Petrikivka painting. A characteristic feature of Petrykiv painting is the predominance of plant patterns. The artist typically creates fantastic, unprecedented forms of flowers, which are based on careful observation of nature, Piskun says.
