Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomoisky has been targeted in a fresh wave of anti-corruption raids as President Volodymyr Zelensky comes under pressure to tackle financial crimes following Russia's invasion of the war-torn country.
Detectives also searched former interior minister Arsen Avakov's home as part of an investigation into a purchase of Airbus helicopters.
Ukraine's Tax Office was then raided where acting head of the Customs Service Viacheslav Demchenko was fired. The Ukrainian government aims to show its allies the country is tackling corruption as its Western partners continue to provide an increasing amount of aid to Kyiv. The head of President Zelensky's party in parliament, David Arakhamia declared Ukraine would change during the war.
