Can you help reunite this family?
A family in England is looking for their Singaporean grandmother's long-lost family members whom she lost contact with after leaving Singapore in the 1960s.told Stomp that is grandmother, whose maiden name is Irene De Souza, moved to England after marrying his English grandfather who was in the Navy.
"Unfortunately, my grandma lost contact with her family in Singapore over the years, apart from my eldest uncle, none of us here have ever met or spoken to them as we were all born here ," he said."Her family used to live in Sembawang and the last known place we know they lived in was Commonwealth Drive in Queenstown.
"My grandma was adopted into the De Souza family as a baby and after marrying my grandad, Derek Austin, she took his surname."My eldest uncle, also named Derek Austin, was born in Singapore."She had siblings named Susan, Patrick, Frederick, and William De Souza.Noah told Stomp that he came across a report on a reunion of"It struck a chord with me because my grandma and our family are in a similar situation," he said.
